Avocado Smoothie Bowl

Avocado Smoothie Bowl

This is my first smoothie bowl post on the blog and they seem to be the latest craze at the moment amongst healthy food fanatics and with my family as well. The best part about smoothie bowls is that it is a complete and filling meal which can be adapted to suit your preferences. It’s also great for people who prefer to eat their smoothie with a spoon instead of just drinking it.

Firstly, I like to create a smooth and delicious base for my smoothie bowl using frozen bananas and adding different flavours to it. Since it is a smoothie bowl, I like the base to be thick and luscious like a soft serve. I love that this smoothie bowl is so healthy, yet still so creamy and dessert like. If you still uncertain about the taste, you can add peanut butter or raw cacao to make it extra appealing. Then, it’s all about the toppings for me. I love to top off the bowl with crunchy and nutritious stuff like goji berries, almonds, chia seeds, etc.

This recipe is a great starting point if you would like to make your first smoothie bowl, it’s flavourful using the latest seasonal autumn ingredients.
Look out for more delicious combinations coming soon…..
