I’m always looking for new light meals to prepare over the weekend.
Indian snack food like chaat and bhel puri are family favorites and I thought why not create a meal using the Chana chaat concept.
Whilst eating this plate of deliciousness, I was transported back to my stay in Dubai, where we used to enjoy a similar dish from our favorite Donner Express. Heaps of fresh vegetables and meat piled over a soft naan bread, scrumptious!
This dish has everything : spice, crunch, and freshness.
It is simple to make and is great as an appetizer or light meal. You could easily add in chicken or beef and omit the chickpeas, if u wish. This dish is a definite crowd pleaser and will have the family coming back for seconds!
