Coffee and Cardamom Cakes

Coffee and Cardamom Cakes

I tried this cake concoction as I enjoy both the aroma and taste of coffee and cardamom. I opted to use the instant Nescafe sachets because of the aromatic ingredients and  I felt the flavour would benefit from the dehydrated milk powder in it. Chai latte sachets would be fine as well if you do not have the Nescafe ones.

This cupcake recipe was a rare first attempt success. It is a combination of a few recipes from the Internet, and the result is delightful. The flavour is just right, and the added cardamom and cinnamon gives it the extra kick. The cakes are soft, buttery with a subtle spiciness, and taste the best topped with Nutella or a frosting of your choice.

If you enjoy moist well spiced cakes, try this carrot cake from the blog as well.

I hope you enjoy these coffee and cardamom cakes as much as we did!
