Weekends are my favorite time to try out new creations for breakfast.
Most of the time, I prefer experimenting with eggs and savory options, but I do enjoy preparing a sweet treat occasionally.
My husband prefers a hearty egg breakfast with all the sides on a Sunday morning, but my son will always opt for the sweet treats.
These French toast Cigars are so easy to make and you can add any filling you desire and something that your family would enjoy. I will be posting a savory option of these cigars on the blog soon.
Get your kids to help you make these, my son had loads of fun rolling out the bread and filling them.
French Toast Cigars

- 2 blocks kiri cheese
- Nutella spread
- Raspberries, to serve

- 1 tblsp oil
- Cinnamon sugar :

- 2 tsp cinnamon
Using a rolling pin, flatten out the bread until it is paper thin.
Spread a little butter over. Spoon Nutella on the one side of 2 slices of bread and roll up tightly.
Cut kiri squares into half and lay on the one side of the other 2 slices of bread and roll up tightly.
Dip the cigars into the egg mixture and then the cinnamon sugar.
Add butter and oil into a frying pan over medium heat. Add cigars to the pan and allow to brown on all sides.
