I tried this cake concoction as I enjoy both the aroma and taste of coffee and cardamom. I opted to use the instant Nescafe sachets because of the aromatic ingredients and I felt the flavour would benefit from the dehydrated milk powder in it. Chai latte sachets would be fine as well if you do not have the Nescafe ones.

The flavour is just right, and the added cardamom and cinnamon gives it the extra kick. The cakes are soft, buttery with a subtle spiciness, and taste the best topped with Nutella or a frosting of your choice.
